California Central Valley Region
Eden Environmental Defenders protects our beautiful California waterways, with a focus on the environmentally disadvantaged Central Valley Region. This includes all waterways in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, such as the Sacramento, San Joaquin River, American, Mokelumne, and Cosumnes Rivers, which are impaired due to historically high amounts of industrial and agricultural pollution.

Eden invites anyone from any walk of life to join the mission to protect our environment all across our beautiful state as we look to positively impact other regions. Members can make a real difference!
How we defend the environment
- We hold industrial businesses accountable for polluting the Water of the United States through the authority granted to citizens under the Federal Clean Water Act.
- We offer free and confidential membership to anyone who would like to join our mission to protect and preserve the waterways in our local community.
- We provide a forum for our members to take action by anonymously reporting any industrial polluters in their community.
- We encourage our members to become environmentally responsible, and we promote environmental awareness and education.
- We provide information and opportunities for our members to volunteer their time and resources to help clean up their communities and their waterways.
